Gasoline engine is mainly composed of crank connecting rod mechanism, valve mechanism, driving mechanism, fuel supply system, cooling system, lubrication system, starting and ignition system.
1. Crank connecting rod mechanism: The function of the crank connecting rod mechanism is to convert the linear motion generated by the gas expansion work of the piston into the rotational motion of the crankshaft during the power stroke; while in other strokes (intake, compression, exhaust), The crank connecting rod mechanism performs the opposite task, which is to transmit the rotational force of the crankshaft to the piston to make the piston produce linear motion.
2. Valve mechanism: The function of the valve mechanism is to ensure that when the piston is in a certain position, the valve is opened and closed, so that the combustible mixture enters the cylinder and the exhaust gas is discharged out of the cylinder.
3. Drive mechanism: The function of the drive mechanism is to drive the valve mechanism, distributor, generator, water pump, oil pump and other parts.
4. Fuel supply system: The function of the fuel supply system is to form a combustible mixture of air and gasoline, and to distribute the mixture evenly to each cylinder according to the engine load, and to discharge the burned exhaust gas out of the cylinder.
5. Cooling system: The function of the cooling system is to cool the cylinder block, cylinder head, valve, piston and other parts in the engine that are in contact with high temperature gas to ensure that these parts are not damaged due to overheating, so that the engine works reliably.
6. Lubrication system: The function of the lubrication system is to ensure that the lubricating oil is continuously supplied to the friction pairs of the engine to reduce the wear and friction loss of the friction pairs and reduce their temperature.
7. Starting and ignition system: The function of the starting system is to start the engine. The function of the ignition system is to ensure that the combustible mixture in the cylinder is ignited at a certain moment.
